Starting this month, Piano Activation has a new name: Piano Subscriptions. You'll see it across our website, documentation, and shared materials. 

This is a naming update, not a product change. If you use Piano today, nothing about your setup changes. Your product, contracts, pricing, and API endpoints all stay the same, and there's no action required on your end. 

Why we changed the name 

"Activation" described a behavior. "Subscriptions" describes the outcome our clients are working toward: turning readers into subscribers and growing those relationships over time. 

One clear, descriptive naming makes it easier to see what each product does right away, and it reflects where Piano is focused: helping subscription businesses grow stronger.
